Our journey began in 2010, when a recent graduate moved to Columbus. Determined to make unfamiliar territory feel like home, she set out to discover all Columbus has to offer—art, food, fashion, people, community (just to name a few). She became inspired to create a coffee-table book designed to take anyone (new or not) on a tour of the city.

What started as an idea evolved into a start-up designed to showcase Columbus. At its center...a bold founder and leader who cashed in a portion of her 401k and gathered a local team of creative superstars.

The perfect love letter to Columbus, the Columbus Book Project captures the spirit of what’s happening right now in one of the most unique cities in America.

I love the feeling of curiosity as I flip through the pages of The Columbus Book Project. It’s a feeling I don’t think will go away, even if I’m looking at a page for the 10th or 87th time—there’s always something new to learn or a different perspective to realize. In a way, it puts a time stamp on this moment in Columbus’ history. And it’s comforting. Knowing that wherever life may take me, this book will always bring me back home to Columbus.

Kudos to The Columbus Book Project for celebrating Columbus’ communities and residents through beautiful photography and art!

The Columbus Book Project books are a true conversation starter. At CASTO we bought 18 books to distribute throughout our apartment communities for our residents to enjoy and it’s so much fun watching people experience the book for the first time, pointing out old Columbus favorites or new places they have yet to explore. The CBP perfectly captures what makes our city great—art, fashion, food, and most importantly collaboration.

The Columbus Book Project is a beautiful testament to the movers and makers in our community– I'm grateful HCT had the opportunity to be included.
